First of all, I want to apologize if this blog is starting to become like a food blog, I just can’t help taking pictures of foooood! (And I love fashion and food both as much) Maybe I should move my blog under personal?? What do you think? Anyways, if there’s one thing I always look forward to every week, it would be Sunday lunch with my Dad because most of the time that’s the only time I get out to go out after a long week of school and second because we get to try out new restaurants. So on the first Sunday lunch of 2012, my dad wanted to eat in Toast Box at GreenBelt 5.
I love Toast Box’s interior because I really love white furniture because it looks so clean and quaint.
Sister’s order.
Dad’s order.
I ordered their bestseller Kaya Toast Set. At first, I thought the filling was like ham and cheese but they told me, if I’m not mistaken, coconut jam. The filling was good, not too sweet. I felt there was a bit too much butter though. The sandwich wasn’t that extraordinary though.
What I ordered came with two soft boil eggs and tea. I ordered their best seller milk tea. I was quite hesitant to order it though because I’m sick of milk tea, just as how I’m sick of froyo. There just too much stores everywhere that I’m sick of seeing them already. Haha! Anyways, I loved this tea! It wasn’t too sweet even if it had condensed milk and you could still taste the tea.
Overall, Toast Box is pretty good place to just hang out and chill and have some toast and tea. 🙂
