Hello, 2015!

2014 was not an easy year for me. It was probably the roughest and toughest year so far, in all aspects of my life - personal, academics, org, and work. There was always that struggle to have a life while balancing all that was on my plate. Looking back, I can’t even list or even remember all the things that happened in the year. Ironically, it seemed like such a fast but long year.

It was definitely a year of change. Although change is constant every year, last year’s events, opportunities and struggles, was way beyond expected. It challenged and pushed me beyond my comfort zone, over and over again. And in the process, I failed a lot but learned tremendously.

I swear, looking back I can’t believe I survived, physically, mentally and emotionally. Of course, I couldn’t have done it and got by without a few people along the way. So firstly, I thank You for everything. I thank coffee for keeping me alive during late nights and early mornings (my blood was probably 85% caffeine high majority of the year). Thank you to family and friends for being my rock and cheering me on, especially during stressful times. Thank you to my readers, who are reading this post right now, despite my lack of blog updates- thank you for sticking with me and inspiring me to continue and improve One Day.

Unlike every other year before, this year I don’t have any New Year’s resolutions. Instead, I will just make each day count and live each day to the fullest, with only high hopes and dreams.

Cheers to a new year! This is not a beginning, but another chance at life. Don’t wait, make it happen. 🙂

P.S. This the 3rd set from my shoot with Aya that I never got to post! Found it quite appropriate for this post 🙂
