OD x Malissa Kiss - Part I

Before last year ended, I had the chance to fly to Bangkok, Thailand for a new and exciting make-up brand entering the Philippines — Malissa Kiss.

It was my first time to travel for the blog so I was pretty stoked! (fingers crossed, for more opportunities like this!). I flew in together with other beauty/fashion bloggers who all made the trip more fun and such an adventure!

We flew via Thai Airways (first-time!) and I must say that their service is great!

We arrived around early night time and went straight to our hotel. We stayed at Somerset Hotel in Sukhumvit Thonglor — our home for the next two nights. As we entered our prepared suite, we were welcomed with drinks, flower petals and Malissa Kiss products. Already felt so at home! Lol.

After settling down, we were told to prepare for dinner and dress a bit formal. Coincidentally, the whole group had matching outfits!

We had dinner at this spectacular restaurant called Cielo Rooftop Sky Bar. Everything was a m a z i ng. This was my second time in Bangkok and it was great to see the “upscale side” this time around.

Given the limited time we had, we made sure to rise early the next day to do some tourist activities on our own.

Wish I had a full-size window like this in my room!

We visited the Grand Palace - one of the must-visit tourist spots. If I remember correctly entrance is about Php 600. They are strict on attire, so if ever you are wearing a sleeveless top and short bottoms, you are required to rent out (for free) their polo tops and native skirts - which I recommend just to match the scenery, lol.

I love visiting temples but this one is an exception — the architecture is just so intricate and might I add, well-maintained! Every corner has its own look so we obviously took advantage, as you can see with my photo flood, haha. DSCF1509 DSCF1523 DSCF1515
