Back to Cafe 1771

As promised, here’s the part 2 of my food review of Cafe 1771 (read part 1 here). This is a really late post, btw. (working on my backlogs before I blog about my Paris/Greece adventure.)

Baguio Longganisa na Sabog (P350) — if I’m not mistaken, lol. I guess it looks like that kasi sabog? Lol.

Adobo Flakes (P350)

Bonuan Boneless Daing na Bangus (P380) Note: This came with egg & rice too.

We had Mother’s Day brunch here so we were able to order from their breakfast menu! I ordered their Caramel Banana Walnut Sour Cream Pancakes(P350). The pancakes were fluffly and light. The candied walnuts and syrup were suprisingly not too sweet. But being the sweet tooth that I am, I actually wish it was a bit sweeter. :( There was also hints of sourness (which is I guess is because of the sour cream) that I didn’t really find pleasant. But maybe that’s just me because I’ve read on other blogs that they loved this. Personally, I still think Pancake House pancakes are still the best though.

Mango Tower (P200)

Nonetheless, I will still go back to Cafe 1771! I still have so much to try and eat! Can’t wait to go back!

Tsoko.nut

I had lunch with my mom at Tsoko.nut at SM Makati after running some errands.

I ordered their bestseller pasta, Creamy Pesto Malunggay with Shrimps (P115). Not bad. There was only like two pieces of shrimps but it’s alright because I don’t really like shrimps (with pesto), lol.

My mom ordered their Callos (P140) which she said was good for its cheap price.

For dessert, me and my mom shared and ordered their Bibingka (P85). I rarely eat bibingka and this is the ONLY bibingka I eat. It’s that good. The bibingka itself is soft and smooth and kind of melts in your mouth. Heaveeen, especially the spot with butteeer. You should definitely try out their bibingka!

They serve pastries and sweets too!

Overall, if you’re in a budget and you don’t want fast food, I recommend you try this out! And don’t forget to order their bibingka!

Note: These photos were taken using my iPhone 4s cause I didn’t bring my camera. Hope that’s fine! :)

P.S. Sorry for not blogging yesterday! Had no time cause we just left Paris! Blogging from Greece right now! OPA! Haha!
