First of all, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies out there and to most likely the only mommy reader I have, Sophie’s Mom! Haha!
Anyways, as said in my previous post, we travelled all the way to Tagaytay to celebrate my lola’s birthday at Antonio’s. It was so good to be back! I was so excited to eat!!! Check out my first food review here.
Dalandan Fruit Slush (P190)
Chocolate Milkshake (P200)
According to mom, it was “okay.”
Beef Tapa & Eggs (P390)
Spanish Sardines Breakfast Basics (P305)
Chocolate Chips Pancakes (P255)
Beef Sinigang in Rice Noodles
Not your usual sinigang. According to TJ, it was really good.
I ordered their French Toast dipped in Vanilla Cream & Cinnamon Egg Butter (P295) because I wanted to try something new. This is possibly the best french toast I’ve ever tasted (totes beats Starbuck’s and my home, lol). If you’ve read my previous posts, you would know I hate whipped cream, but this time I didn’t really mind (I think cause it was melted, haha). The apples soaked in syrup was perfect and not too sweet. The toast itself was unlike other French Toasts I’ve tried. It was really soft and sort of melted on your mouth. Although, I felt like it could use more flavor and could have been soaked in milk and eggs longer.
I ordered some Chocolate Crinkles (P30). It was yummy but wasn’t anything really special. I liked the fudgy dense part of the crinkle. 🙂
Mom ordered their Bread Butter & Figs Pudding (190). It was good. It was dense and moist.
Ordered Flourless Chocolate Cake (P240) as the birthday cake! Mom said that the flavor is rich but the serving is so small and disappointing. I don’t think it’s size is worth P240.
Nonetheless, Antonio’s: good food, beautiful place. Can I have breakfast here everyday?! I wish!
P.S. I’m on the newspaper today!!! :O I literally just woke up and rolled out of bed in this photo! Haha! Nonetheless, this is definitely one thing off my bucket list! Thank you BM for this FULL PAGE feature! ❤ Grab a copy or read it online HERE! #grateful ☝
